We’re happy to announce Voter Group Verification has been added to the FYCit App for Emmys Season 2025. Verified members may be eligible to receive additional/early event notifications, special access to content, and other perks.
As a special bonus for Emmys 2025, Television Academy members who verify on the app will receive a Free Subscription to Movie Maker Magazine! We will contact you at the email in your profile about this subscription.
Head to the Profile tab on the FYCit App and click on Verifications.
Note: You must be an active Television Academy member to verify and have Television Academy selected in your FYCit Profile under Guilds on the Info tab of your Profile.
Be sure to add Television Academy there if you haven’t already added it before beginning the Verification process.
You will need to upload a Screenshot of your Digital Member Card that shows your Valid Through Date.
Here are the steps to find this.
1. Browse to televisionacademy.com
2. Click the Profile Icon on the top.
3. Log In to your account.
4. Your Profile should pop up after login.
Click the Visit Member Dashboard button.
5. Click the Member Card link under or next to your name.
6. Take a Screenshot of this page that includes your Name, Member ID, and Valid Through date.
Head back to the Verification tab on the FYCit App and enter your Name, Member ID, and Valid Through date in the boxes there.
Click the Upload Screenshot Here button and upload the screenshot you just took of your member card.
If there is anything else we need to know about your verification (such as if your name doesn’t match exactly), please enter that in the Notes box.
Click Verify.
Once you have submitted verification, you should receive an automated email confirmation. It may take a few days for the verification process to complete.
If you made any mistakes or need to Update Your Valid Through date. Please return to the Verification tab and restart the process.
You should receive an automated email once verification is complete or if there are any issues with the process.
